Matrixdock Launches Gold-Backed Token XAUm on Sui Blockchain

Matrixdock, a leading real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform under the Matrixport Group, has launched its flagship gold-backed token, XAUm, on the sui blockchain. This marks the first issuance of XAUm on a non-EVM chain, expanding its digital utility and accessibility.

XAUm is backed 1:1 by LBMA-accredited Gold of 99.99% purity, with audits conducted by Bureau Veritas. The Sui blockchain was selected for its advanced technical architecture, including parallel execution, sub-second finality, and horizontally scalable infrastructure—features that enable fast, cost-efficient, and high-throughput transactions for tokenized assets.
